🏃‍♀️🐾 Brownie’s Big Adventure — A Fortuitous Situation ❤️

Sweet little Brownie found her forever home on October 7, adopted from Lucky Dog by her wonderful new mom, Valerie! 🎉

The very next morning, Valerie took her to the vet near Soriana to get all the goodies for her new life — a shiny collar, a cute leash, and all the essentials for a pampered pup. 🐶💖

But then… boom! 💥 A loud cohete exploded nearby just as Brownie was being let out of her crate. Startled, she took off like a rocket — leash flying behind her! Valerie and the vet team, including Dr. Jorge, sprinted after her, but Brownie was just too quick. Valerie jumped into her car while Dr. Jorge called Lucky Dog to send over Brownie’s photo for a missing alert.

Meanwhile, one of our amazing volunteers was already on the move! 🚗 Heading down the Carretera toward Chapala, they spotted a little brown blur with a leash — it was Brownie! 😱

They pulled over and flagged down a passing 4x4 police truck, shouting “¡Perro, perro!” 🚓 The officers joined the chase and, in true action-movie fashion, cornered Brownie safely in the XOXO parking lot. Mission accomplished! 🙌

Poor Brownie was tired, dusty, and had a scraped paw, but she was SAFE. 💕 When she saw Valerie waiting back at the vet, her tail wagged like crazy — the reunion was pure joy. 🥹🐕

A huge shoutout to Dr. Jorge and his team, the local police, and everyone who helped rescue this brave little girl. Brownie’s adventure may have been wild, but it ended just the way we love — with love, teamwork, and a very happy tail! ❤️🐾
